Sunday worship often elicits many questions -- why do we do what we do? Do we have choices for what scripture to read? What's happening up at the altar when the deacon is preparing everything?

On Sunday April 30th, St. Stephen's hosted an Instructed Eucharist to help answer those questions and more! The bulletin featured annotated columns which provided interesting information about lots of different parts of the service. The footnotes reference lines from the liturgy that are sourced directly from the Bible. And, in place of a normal homily, Fr. Dennis spoke briefly about the preaching process and offered a question and answer session from the congregation.
